Description: Absolute power always resides with those who control the money. In our American experience, our federal government has seized and centralized this power. Once it was made possible to tap directly into our pockets with the passing of the 16th Amendment in 1913 and the establishment of the Federal Reserve System in the very same year, the problems of making a living and accumulating wealth changed forever for all citizens of the United States.

But our history does not end there. On August 15th, 1971 President Nixon changed the rules of money when he severed the U.S. Dollar from its relationship to Gold. After 1971 we entered the age of debt based fiat currency. A currency, like an electrical current, must move from asset to asset in order to reduce the impact of eroding factors such as planned obsolescence, technological changes, inflation, taxation, lost opportunity costs, and market volatility.
Today it is only the Austrian School of Economics that has been able to explain with complete accuracy the boom-bust cycle of the markets, and their cause and effects. The long-term Austrian solution is to return money and banking to the competitive private sector, out of the grasp of politicians and bailed-out big bankers. In the meantime, there is a way for the individual to protect themselves during the coming economic storms.

But, in order to do so the average citizen must be educated in the truth of how money works. By obtaining this education it is possible for the average American to create a self contained Macro-economy complete with Privatized Banking System.
